At the Indie Author Fair, you’ll have the chance to meet and engage with a wide variety of authors, including traditional and self-published writers, mystery authors, educators, illustrators, and creators of both fiction and nonfiction. Browse books, hear the stories behind the pages, and connect directly with the people who bring them to life.
Whether you’re an avid reader, an aspiring writer, or just curious, the Author Fair offers a vibrant, welcoming space to discover new voices and support authors from near and far.

Applications will be reviewed based on several criteria, including:
Priority given to those who:
– have published in the last three years
– are local to Lee county, AL, or
– are potential first-time participants.
Physical publishing only
– We do not accept digital-only authors at this time.
Genre caps
– We will have genre caps to ensure a variety of options for more readers and festival attendees.
Notes on AI use
– Works that use generative AI for creation of the narrative will not be considered for the Indie Author Fair.
– AI used for editing or artwork is discouraged, but not disqualifying.
