Rachel Hochhauser

Rachel Hochhauser is an author and entrepreneur based in Portland, Oregon—by way of Santa Barbara, New York, and Los Angeles—where she lives with her husband and daughters.

Her debut novel, Lady Tremaine, is an untelling of Cinderella from the perspective of the so-called evil stepmother: a meditation on motherhood and women bold enough to make their own fortunes. Allison Raskin

Allison Raskin is a New York Times bestselling author, relationship coach and mental health advocate, in addition to being an accomplished content creator. She co-hosts the show Starter Marriage with her husband and created the Emotional Support Lady Instagram and Substack. She is also well-known for her time at Buzzfeed Video and her popular YouTube channel Just Between Us, which has amassed over 185 million views.

Irvin Weathersby

Irvin is a Brooklyn-based writer and professor from New Orleans. His writing has been featured in Harper’s Bazaar, LitHub, Guernica, Esquire, The Atlantic, EBONY, and elsewhere. He has earned an MFA from The New School, an MA from Morgan State University, and a BA from Morehouse College. He has received fellowships and awards from the Voices of Our Nations Arts Foundation, the Research Foundation of CUNY, the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, the American Council of Learned Societies, and the Mellon Foundation.

Kevin Maurer

Kevin Maurer is an award-winning journalist and three-time New York Times bestselling co-author of No Easy Day: The Firsthand Account of the Mission that Killed Osama bin Laden, No Hero: The Evolution of a Navy SEAL and American Radical: Inside the World of an Undercover Muslim FBI Agent.

Maurer is the author of nine books, including The Gentlemen Bastards, which chronicled an unprecedented ten week embed with a Special Forces team in southern Afghanistan. His other books include Hunter Killer, a behind-the-scenes look at America’s drone war and two books with Pulitzer Prize Winner Mitch Weiss.

Terah Shelton Harris is a librarian and freelance writer, who now writes upmarket fiction with bittersweet endings. Terah has worked as a librarian for over 15 years. Chief among her responsibilities is the coordination of all aspects of adult collection development (print and digital) including: acquisitions, withdrawals, circulation, cataloging, and processing, ensuring the present and future optimal operation and function of the DHCLS’s technology and communications network (hardware/software), including DHCLS’s website, ILS, and OverDrive’s eBook consortium, SEADL. Patti Callahan Henry

Paige Lewis

Paige Lewis is the author of the poetry collection Space Struck (Sarabande Books, 2019) and the novel Canon (Viking Press, 2026). They co-edited Another Last Call: Poems on Addiction and Deliverance (Sarabande Books, 2023) with Kaveh Akbar. Paige teaches creative writing at the University of Iowa.
